Bluestone Estate Wedding | Kayla + Cayden

What a beautiful day this was! Kayla and Cayden got married right before the kick-off of summer on Memorial Day weekend, and it could not have been a better weekend for it!

With the festivities happening at the Historic Bluestone Estate, I got to poke around the beautiful grounds and experience the centuries-old structures and gorgeous homestead site that was recently turned into a wedding and events center. It has some amazing visuals, including a dock over a large pond that is so good for some dreamy shots.

Kayla and Cayden actually released monarch butterflies on the dock together, a small part of the larger group of 224 monarchs that were released by family and friends during their ceremony. Iconic!

They also created a super unique unity painting during the nuptials by pouring paint together on a canvas which they’ll have as a gorgeous reminder of their wedding day. Just another fab nod to their creativity!

The couple met in college and became friends before going on their first date, where they both apparently knew that they had something special. The rest was history after that!

My lovebirds became pet parents to a beautiful kitty that played a big part in their engagement, and their wedding date marks just about when they adopted their beloved Cannon all those years ago.

Kayla and Cayden were so excited for the day to happen, to be able to just go with the flow, have fun, make memories, and laugh the night away just weeks after Kayla completed grad school! Talk about a multitasker!

And when the day arrived, it was so intimate and intentional, an all-around beautiful event! The reception, full of vintage mauve, soft gold, soft white, and tan, was lit with neon signs and covered in florals and beautiful linens. The bride and groom paid special attention to their amazing menu, including their cake, a s’mores bar, and an ice cream station, and amidst the fire pit, lots of dancing, and a few drinking songs they made a whole lot of memories!

Kayla and Cayden thank you for bringing me along on your amazing day! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

If there’s one thing we have in common, it’s our unwavering commitment to the details -

- the lush cascading bouquet, the elegant wax seal on your invitations, and the seemingly small moments that become dear reminders of your big day. But, most importantly, it’s how we thrive on connection.

I believe the best wedding photography experience happens when we’re connected. That means trusting your photographer, a level of faith I treat earnestly.

You deserve a custom experience as breathtaking as your final gallery, and that’s what I’ll deliver.

and I can’t wait to capture it.
